Berths and Shore Facilities in Forth Harbours |
|
Anstruther |
LONG TERM BERTHING Anstruther harbour has pontoon berths for over 100 boats as well as many berths alongside a floating walkway (soon to be extended) and various sea walls but there is a substantial waiting list for long term berths. Information can be got from the harbour master on 01333310836 VISITORS BERTHS Anstruther harbour is generally accessible 4hrs either side of high water. There is adequate berthing space for most boats that are able to dry out. Several pontoons are kept specifically for visitors and use of these should be arranged with the harbour master on 01333310836 or on Channel 11. Forward planning can allow arrangements to be made for collection of security gate key fobs, outside office hours. The pontoons are not suitable for fin keeled yachts but all boats are welcome to use wall space that is not occupied by, or set up for, local boats. Showers and toilets are available as are most facilities you might expect from a harbour and tourism based community. |
Burntisland |
Burntisland Sailing Club has a variety non-drying, fore and aft moorings available for permanent and temporary allocation. The mooring spaces are suitable for both fin keel and twin or lifting keel yachts, and are ideally located in the club area within Burntisland Harbour, adjacent to the seaward entrance giving fantastic, all tidal states access. Winter storage facilities in the club’s secure compound may also be available. We are very keen to have them occupied, therefore whatever you have in mind, please make all enquires and applications to the Secretary at 01592 873375 or contact@burntislandsailing.org.uk Please be aware, that provision, installation and maintenance of all mooring tackle are the responsibility of occupiers. |
